THE COLLECTIVE

WE ARE

THE COLLECTIVE

THE COLLECTIVE is a group of theatre makers in Ireland who make collaborative and experimental work in theatre, film and digital media. We are committed to supporting theatre makers to develop new work and to advance their practice with artist-led mentorship and resources. We seek to bring our work to audiences nationally and internationally, and to include them in all stages of our work and every part of our programme.

WHO WE ARE

At the heart of THE COLLECTIVE are three Irish theatre makers Nyree Yergainharsian, Aisling Ormonde and Jocelyn Clarke who create original new work across different art forms for audiences in Ireland and around the world. As part of our collaborative practice, which is rooted in experimentation and innovation, we offer supports and resources to artists of all disciplines to develop new work and to advance their practice.  We invite audiences into every parts of our programme, including them in the making of work and the activities of The Collective Lab. The Collective’s work plays with form, experiments with content, and challenges expectations. We seek to create new performances that are daring and rewarding for artists and audiences.
